About

안녕하세요! I’m Hangeulia ^-^

Welcome to Korea Unfolded by Hangeulia — a cozy little corner of the internet where I share different sides of Korea, one story at a time.

You’ll often find me exploring K-drama filming spots, sharing stories of delicious street food, and introducing quiet corners of Seoul that feel just like a scene from a drama ^^

I created this blog to bring global fans of Netflix K-dramas, K-pop, and Korean culture a little closer to the places, flavors, and expressions that make Korea so special — not only what appears on screen, but also the daily life, the small joys, and the language we use every day.

Whether you're planning a trip, learning Korean, or captivated by K-Pop Demon Hunters like I am… you’ll always have a warm welcome here ^^

Korea Unfolded by Hangeulia is a personally operated blog, written and maintained by an individual creator based in Korea. Each post is created with care — based on personal experience, on-site visits when possible, and additional research to help travelers plan with confidence.

💜 About the name “Hangeulia”

The name “Hangeulia (한글리아)” grew from 한글 (hangeul) and 리아 (lia) — a gentle touch that felt right for the warm, friendly way I wanted to share Korea. It also carries another layer: 리아 (lia) of 코리아 (Korea) — like your Korean friend, walking with you through this beautiful country, one story at a time ^^

For me, “한글리아” is where language, culture, and warmth meet. From must-visit landmarks to hidden gems tucked away in quiet alleys, I’ll be unfolding not only the trendy spots in Seoul but also the charming corners scattered across Korea.

💜 On this blog, you’ll find:

  • Real-life locations from your favorite K-dramas
  • Easy Korean expressions to help you sound more local
  • Travel tips for first-timers (or repeat visitors!)
  • A sprinkle of Korean culture, language, K-pop, and heart

Let’s unfold Korea together — slowly, warmly, and with a little sparkle ^^
