💜 Who is Kian84?


Before he became a household name on TV, Kian84 was already a cultural icon in Korea through his webtoons Fashion King (패션왕) and Returning King (복학왕 — a satirical Korean campus life webtoon).

– ✍️ Ended his webtoon career in 2021
– 🎨 Working as a painter since 2022
– 📺 Gained national love through I Live Alone (나 혼자 산다)


In 2023, he made history as the first non-celebrity to win the Grand Prize at the MBC Entertainment Awards.

And of course, we came to truly embrace him through I Live Alone — a variety show where he slowly became Korea’s most unexpected national favorite.

Kian is raw, weird, real. His evolution from awkward outsider to beloved creator feels so genuine. And that’s exactly the charm he brings to Kian’s Bizarre B&B.



💜 What is Kian's Bizarre B&B?


It’s not just a guesthouse. It’s an alternate universe — designed with the mind of a cartoonist and the heart of a philosopher.

Conceptualized and designed by Kian84 himself, the minbakjip (Korean guesthouse) sits in the middle of the Ulleungdo sea.


  • 😱 No entrance on the first floor. Guests must rock-climb to the second floor.
  • 😂 No stairs — only a pole to slide between levels.
  • 😲 Plan B guesthouse in the mountain, accessible only by monorail.
  • 🎨 Military barracks meets indie art studio-style interior.

One of the funniest moments? Actress Ji Ye-eun being dragged up the pole by her lifejacket yelling, “으아” — I laughed so hard I nearly fell off my couch 😆ㅋㅋㅋ

Kian84 is clumsy, real, and doesn’t pretend. He owns his flaws and tries, again and again. He shows us it’s okay to be human — weird, awkward, and growing.

He respects differences, embraces change, and loves deeply in his own quiet way. He’s the kind of person who makes you feel a little braver just by being himself.

That’s why I’ve loved him since 2017. And if you want to know him more, watch Adventure by Accident (태어난 김에 세계일주). It’s beautiful, honest, full of soul — and of course, hilarious.^^ ㅎㅎ
